23 Jan U16 Football Success

Congratulations to the U16 football team who beat Coláiste Choilm on Tuesday, on a score line of 3-14 to 1-9 to claim the Dublin “B” Final.

This means that Coláiste Éanna now go through to the Leinster semi- final.

Coláiste Éanna were the stronger team from the outset, leading at half time by 1-5 to 0-4.  Éanna worked hard during the second half and goals from Luke O’ Donoghue and Hugh Keller sealed the win. It was a fantastic team performance, the Leinster semi – final will hopefully be played in the next two weeks.

The scorers on the day were Ross McGarry 0-5, Luke O’ Donoghue 1-1, Hugh Keller 2-0, Eoin Kelly 0-1, Sean McDonnell 0-2, Conor Leigh 0-3, Josh Kane 0-1, Shane Kennedy 0-1.
