25 May 2012 Student of the Year – Jamie Desmond

The Student of the Year Award is chosen by the entire teaching staff.  Nominations were sought for students who shone not just in terms of their academic work but also in terms of their leadership ability within the student body as a whole. Teachers were asked to nominate students who are dependable and reliable but also of pleasant disposition and who have the interests of Coláiste Éanna at the heart of what they do. A short list is drawn up and a vote occurs.

The recipient of the Coláiste Éanna student of the year in 2012 certainly embodies all these attributes. The recipient is Jamie Desmond.
