Well done to the senior hurling team on a fine win away to St Benildus College on Friday by a score of 4-14 to 9 points.  An excellent all round team performance was led by fine performances by Jack McDonnell and Tom Hanafin in defence, the midfield pair of Fionn Maguire and captain Darragh O Shea, and Tim O Connor and Colm Basquel in attack.

Top scorer on the day was Eamon Gorman with 2-3.

Round 2 of the championship takes place this Thursday at home to St Fintans
